to make a face 脸部露出厭惡的脸色
Example:

to keep (or have) one's fingers crossed 把中指疊在食指上穿插著，做十字狀。這是黑暗盼望天主保佑本身正在做的事胜利。

更有趣的是英佳人用大拇指（thumb)做出許多分歧的表示。
